Hippocampus hosts 3rd International Festival of Stories: Feb 20th – 27th

Hippocampus recently hosted Hoo’s Tales 2010, an annual festival that celebrates the timeless art of story narration. The multi-format event was held in Bangalore and Chennai and featured storytellers from around the world. It included sessions in local schools, puppet shows, artiste performances, workshops, and more.

PRCAI’s Annual PR Summit 2010: March 5th

The Public Relations Consultancies Association of India (PRCAI) recently held an annual summit in Bangalore that focused on youth-targeted communication. In his address, Manish Sabharwal, co-founder and chairman of staffing company TeamLease, talked about gaps in employability and education that still need to be addressed in the country. In another riveting presentation, Sangeeta Talwar, Executive Director of Marketing at Tata Tea, described the creation of the company’s successful ‘Jaago Re’ campaign. Other communication thought leaders who shared their views included Adithya Jha of Infosys, Amit Saran of Buzzintown, marketing consultant Harish Bijoor, columnist Paranjoy Guha Thakurta, Rajnish of Althea Systems and Garima Varma of FMR (Fidelity) India.
