A leading semiconductor company found itself excluded from critical government bids owing to skewed verbiage in the tenders. This was primarily due to lack of awareness within Government agencies, or misinformation provided by so-called IT consultants advising these agencies.
The PRactice developed and implemented a focused PR campaign to reverse this situation. We ran a concerted media awareness campaign that focused on eliminating existing myths and factual inaccuracies. To highlight the cost and performance benefits of the client’s product, we began positioning the company as the partner of choice for the Government’s large-scale technology upgrade projects.
The campaign resulted in the company becoming eligible to participate in a substantially larger number of government tenders. From the time the campaign took off, the company saw a ten percent increase in the number of tenders that they were able to bid on, amounting to an additional business opportunity of more than USD 530 million.
“The campaign has helped change mindsets in many government agencies across the country. The skills and abilities of The PRactice have made this campaign a success.” -- Manager-Corporate Affairs
